It is easy to get confused when it comes to packing. You can do the packing yourself or we can do it for you. Our professional packing crews are trained to properly handle and pack all of your household goods. Here are some options when deciding who will do the packing:
You may have items in your home requiring special crating; Antiques, large glass pieces, taxidermy and artwork often times require wooden crates for safe transporting. You may request special crating for any item you are concerned about. Remember that you will be charged a price per cubic foot for the materials and labor to construct the crate.
Items packed by the customer are not covered by mover's Insurance.
Customer must consider the extra expense involved in a "Full Pack" versus a "Partial" or "No pack" option.
If you believe an item is worth $100.00 per pound or more, it will be considered a high value item. Items such as stamp collections, china, crystal, Hummel figurines, etc. could be an example of high value items.

Non-Allowable items are broken up into 3 categories: Perishable Items, Hazardous Materials, and Personal Items.
PERISHABLE ITEMS:
Because perishable items will spoil quickly, the carrier will not accept them for transportation. It is recommended that once you have determined move dates, plan to utilize perishable items before the actual move takes place or if this is not possible, you may give them to friends, neighbors or perhaps a charitable organization.
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS:
Because of their dangerous nature, the carrier cannot accept hazardous materials in the shipment as they may cause damage to the household goods, equipment or the personnel involved. These items should be disposed of carefully and it is recommended that you check with the proper authorities concerning their disposal.
PERSONAL ITEMS:
Because these items may not be replaceable, it is recommended that you take them along in your automobile or make other shipping arrangements (i.e. via UPS or freight). Unfortunately the carrier is not able to place a value on items that may be of sentimental value to you or items that cannot be duplicated.
